Costume Rental Terms of Agreement

1.  As lessee of the requested articles, I agree to pay in full value for any and all items not returned on agreed date.  That all rental merchandise remains the property of the lessor while in my possession.  In the even it becomes necessary for the lessor to turn the contract over to a collection agency or attorney for adjustment or collection, I agree to pay and to be liable for any costs, collection fees, interest and attorney's fees.

2.  All rental merchandise must be returned in good condition on the date specified or additional charges must be paid by the customer.  Charges start at $5.00 per damage and go up to full deposit.

3.  Forfeit of deposit upon cancellation.

4.  All rentals must be returned on time or lessee will pay for an additional day rental.  Costumes must be back by specified time.  $5.00 per hour will be charged for delays.

5.  Anyone failing to return merchandise within 72 hours after the specified time MAY BE CHARGED WITH THEFT and PROSECUTED under Arizona Criminal Code Section 13-1806--"Unlawful Failure to Return Rented Property."

6.  Failure to return merchandise valued OVER $100 is a Class 6 Felony.  The maximum penalty for a Class 6 Felony is imprisonment up to 19 years and/or a fine up to $180,000.00 plus statutory surcharges.

7.  Failure to return merchandise valued UNDER $100 is a Class 1 Misdemeanor.  The maximum penalty for a Class 1 Misdemeanor is imprisonment up to 6 months and/or a fine up to $1,000.00

8.  Lessor cannot be held responsible in any way for any such accident which might occur while rental merchandise is in the possession of the lessee.

9.  Lessor will contact Lessee by phone or email to confirm costume rental and specify date and time for pick up and return of rented merchandise.
